This shorts program celebrates the directorial work of actresses-turned-directors, Oscar winners, emerging filmmakers, experimental artists, documentarians, animators, and cinema pioneers. Featured shorts: Kirsten Dunst’s “Bastard” (2010, USA, 6 mins). A young couple in crisis find their way to a desert motel & more including Shawneé & Shawnelle Gibbs’ “Sule and the Case of the Tiny Sparks” (2010, 11 min, USA) which Dahveed & Steve Sievers were animators on the project.
