SPBH @ Hollyshorts Film Festival

The Hollyshorts Film Festival was this past week at the world famous TCL Chinese Theatres in downtown Hollywood. On the opening night featured the film The Sidekick in which Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle (Steve Sievers) starred in it in which he is wearing his Daniel the Turtle costume. The film stars Rob Benedict (Supernatural), Ron Livingston (Office Space), and Jason Ritter (Freddy VS Jason). Rob Benedict also wrote the film and was at the screening at Hollyshorts Film Festival. In the film Steve comes out of Super Nightclub in his Daniel the Turtle costume with the camera starting on him. Steve caught up with Rob at the event in which he said “you are that shot [Steve] that shot is all about you man. It was [costume] the only one that really worked. Everyone else in that shot just wore masks.” You can check out Steve in the background of the trailer for the film by clicking here and check out pics below from the event including a pic of Steve on the big screen.

SPBH Signing at San Diego Comic Con

Thanks to all who came out to Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator/voice actor Steve Sievers’ signing. The Supa Pirate Booty Hunt poster signing took place at ASIAF booth at San Diego Comic Con 2013. Steve Sievers “Thanks to ASIAF I was able to promote our Supa Pirate Booty Hunt The Documentary at San Diego Comic Con. Everyone knows comic con is the perfect place to promote your project. I’m really proud of our documentary that shows Dahveed and I’s nine year journey of the ups and downs of bringing (or attempting to bring) our characters to life.  I’m extremely thankful to Continuum Pictures for getting the documentary on video on demand on Dish Network. In September it will be available on video on demand on Direct TV, rental on itunes, and rental kiosks around the country through DVox boxes.”
