5th Annual Punk Rock Pirate Party was held on International Talk Like A Pirate Day at Clancy’s in downtown Long Beach, CA! Everyone who attended the LBPP event got to enjoy live Punk Rock Music, Supa Pirate Booty Hunt animation, & Daniel the Turtle rocking out on stage. Not only were the guest dressed up as pirates…but also the BEER! *pics below without SPBH Logo watermark were taken by the LBPP Crew.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators had a booth at Boardner’s Club in Hollywood for an art, music, fashion show, burlesque show, & film night at the club. Steve Sievers (SPBH co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle) got a Henna Tattoo done at the event with Supa Pirate Booty Hunt artwork! See pics from the event below:

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt the animated series creators Dahveed & Steve Sievers celebrated one of their favorite holidays by not just doing one…not two but THREE EVENTS IN ONE DAY. The day started with Dahveed attending the LA Comic Book & Science Fiction Convention at the Shrine in downtown Los Angles. Dahveed passed out some Supa Pirate Booty Hunt postcards then head out to meet up with Steve at the San Gabriel Valley Comic Book Festival in El Monte, CA. They had a booth at the convention to show off SPBH animation and showed comic book lovers the true way to Talk Like A Pirate!
The night ended at the 5th Annual Punk Rock Pirate Party at Clancy’s in downtown Long Beach, CA. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt the animated series creators Dahveed & Steve Sievers were out covering the red carpet & screening for the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles. Actor John Hawkes from such movies as The Perfect Storm, Miami Vice, From Dusk Till Dawn, and the hit HBO series Deadwood was being honored at the Opening Night Gala with the “Indie Film Trailblazer Award.” The first night started out at the Civic Center Theater (Ronald. F. Deaton Auditorium) where the SPBH covered the Red Carpet and got to screen American: The Bill Hicks Story which follwed with a Q & A with the producers Matt Harlock & Paul Thomas. Special guest on the panel was Steve Hicks & Kevin Booth who played them selves in the movie. The night ended at the The Crocker Club in downtown LA for the after party.
Night two of the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles, Dahveed & Steve Sievers attend the screening of the Red Hot Chili Peppers A Untitled Documentary at the Grammy Museum at LA Live. After the screening there was a Q & A with the director David Hausen followed by after party in downtown but was overshadowed by the LA Art Walk.

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be having a booth at the Hollywood Xpo Convention which is Oct 15 – 17th at the Hilton by Universal Studios . The convention has a huge line up of special guest including Stan Lee, Buzz Aldrin, Ray Bradbury, John Savage, and from Star Trek: Walter Koening, Nichelle Nichols, & so much more! The SPBH crew will be having a panel on Sunday at 10 AM followed by an animation festival they will be running at 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM in the same room (which is TBA) We are now taking submissions for animation projects to be shown at the event. Rivets & Rockets 2.0 was a smash! Our event was a tribute to technology and Robots in Pop Culture. DJ Thee Dopeshow held down the music entertainment while everyone got to enjoy some amazing Artwork & Multi-Media Audio and Video Projections. Rajh performed live his single “Technology” and also featured a presentation of the the animatic for the animated music video of the song with Dahveed (SPBH co-creator) ! Daniel the Turtle had to get down live with Rajh during his set. The night also featured live body paint by Ghost Images with many people leaving the event transformed into Robots. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creators will be having a booth at the 3rd Annual San Gabriel Valley Comic Book Festival on Sept 19th at the Cuban Club located at 10960 Lower Azusa Road El Monte, CA 91731 from 11 AM – 5 PM. The event is free…FREE! Free Admission! Supa Pirate Booty Hunt will be celebrating “Talk Like A Pirate Day” with the Long Beach Party Project at the 5th Annual Punk Rock Pirate Party happening on September 19th at Clancy’s located at 803 C. Broadway Ave Long Beach, CA 90802. The event is only $3 if you dress like a pirate & $5 with out costume and then you will be made into a pirate. Daniel the Turtle the supa pirate turtle will be there in costume rocking out and Supa Pirate Booty Hunt animation will be screened at the event.
