Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle is having a piece in a group art show in honor of Free Comic Book Day called Covered 2010. The event will take place at GEEKS COMICS at 6847 Greenleaf Ave Suite A Whittier CA 90601. The opening reception is May 1st at 7 PM and the art show will be up until May 29th. Steve piece is titled “What if… Iron Turtle”
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators were on stage dressed as Cpt Zack Stevers & Daniel the Turtle with the cast of Kick Ass (Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, & Chloe Moretz) The event was at the Hot Topic at Highland & Hollywood. As you can see the Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators had a great time…until poor Daniel the Turtle fell on his shell on stage & couldn’t get up. Good thing SUPA PIRATE! Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be having a booth today at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Monterey Park, CA. They will also be taking a part in the costume hero contest @ 4:30 PM so be on the look out for Daniel the Turtle & Cpt Zack Stevers.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be at the Wizard World Convention today in costume. Also make sure to stop by Spike Spencer’s booth (voice of Cpt Zack Stevers) to pick up some Supa Pirate Booty Hunt goodies. Spike will be there all three days of the convention.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators attended the world premiere of Kick Ass the movie at the Arch-light Theatre in Hollywood last night with the cast & crew. Check out Steve Sievers on the red carpet below. They also attended John Romita, Jr (KICK ASS Comic Book co-creator & artist) signing at Golden Apple comic store before the movie. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle attended a signing of Rob Liefeld who created the marvel comic book character Deadpool. Steve promote the Daniel the Turtle figure with his Super Hero Squad Deadpool figure at the event and as you can see in the pics, Rob & other got a kick out of it. Also Steve attended DJ Rossstar’s Punk Rock show to see Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen with her band The Pretty Reckless. The band has their song “Make Me Wanna Die” on the Kick ASS Soundtrack and look for their full length album out this summer & check them out on the whole Vans Warped Tour. Check out pics below:
