Supa Pirate Booty Hunt episode Holiday Fight Club Island was screened at the 1st Digital LA Digital Screening Night at IgnitedSpaces in Hollywood last night. The event was for Filmmakers to show off their comedy videos, with a frisky love theme perfect for the pre-Valentines February event, to a packed audience. After each film, the creative team answered questions on video development, funding, filming, distribution, marketing and social media. SPBH co-creator, writer, animator, and voice of Daniel the Turtle was on hand to talk about making of the animation and plans for the future. The event was a chance for filmmakers to screen their content, usually available online, with an live audience to gauge their laughter / reactions, and questions from the audience. Everyone there was able to pick up free Supa Pirate Booty Hunt The Documentary Poster, postcards, or business cards. Check out pics from the packed house below.

Happy Holidays from Supa Pirate Booty Hunt. It may look like that there isn’t many things going on in the SPBH world, thats because the creators are currently working on the latest version of the feature film script. Steve Sievers and Dahveed are currently taking their time on the script. They gave out postcards for their animation they produced for the charity Music Saves Lives that guest starred Dave Mustatine from Megadeth. If you haven’t seen Metal in My Shell yet, click here. They will be showing everyone the steps they take to create their award winning animation and will be giving away FREE signed Supa Pirate Booty Hunt The Documentary Posters at the panel. SPBH gets National Exposure on ReelzChannel

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators and their artwork will be getting national exposure again by appearing on ReelzChannel. Back in August of 2012 Steve Sievers and Dahveed appeared on a new SyFy show called Collection Intervention to promote their animated series. The show and its episodes are now airing on ReelzChannel. Check out the page for Collection Intervention on REELZchannel by clicking here. REELZ Channel is channel 299 on DISH and channel 238 on Direct TV. The channel currently is in 66,739,000 American households (58.44% of households with television). The episode features a lot of SPBH artwork/logos and some great acting from Steve & Dahveed. SPBH at Rob Zombie’s Great America Nightmare Opening Night Party

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators attended the opening night party for Rob Zombie’s Great America Nightmare in Pomona, CA. A new Halloween event that features haunted houses, old horror movie screeners, and live music every night. The opening night featured the band 3OH!3 which if you remember was in Supa Pirate Booty Hunt first animated PSA for the charity Music Saves Lives. If you haven’t seen it, click here. The animation won six awards at the Burbank International Film Festival, see video of SPBH creators accepting their awards here. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators caught up with Nat & Sean from 3OH!3 on the red carpet and did a little video talking about them being in the SPBH animation. Look for it soon in the next SPBH video blog. Also at the event they were filming an episode of Food Network’s Cup Cake Wars. Depends on how they edit but you may see SPBH creators on the show.
