iTV Fest Launch Party

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle: Steve Sievers was a guest at the iTV Fest Launch Party in Beverly Hills, CA at the Aqua Lounge. The event was put on by Jeff Rector (actor/comedian who MC the event) and in association with Frank Zanca from Stay Tuned TV. Directors, Producers, Casting Directors and Actors from the other Stay Tuned TV (including Steve for Supa Pirate Booty Hunt) were in attendance along with live performances from Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager, Live Free or Die Hard , & Samantha Who) and his Band, with Special Musical Guest singer/songwriter Alicia Sikorski, with a special Belly Dancing Performance by Layla Lotus Dancers, Actress/Singer Calista Carradine (David Carradine’s Daughter) & others. Video of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt @ LBPP Secret Santa Toy Drive Event

Check out video from Long Beach Party Project & Supa Pirate Booty Hunt Secret Santa Toy Drive Event. The charity event which was held at the Basement Lounge in downtown Long Beach. The spirit of the season was in the air that even Daniel the Turtle got dressed up as Santa and pose for people at the photo ops booth & warmed up the crowd on stage. SPBH creators auctioned off a signed glossy of Daniel the Turtle & Santa that went towards the Toy Drive and also many people brought toys to donate at the event. Bast Designs Group Art Show

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle has his art piece “Sad Daniel the Turtle in Oil” at the Bast Design Gallery located at 1312 Burbank Blvd #A Burbank, CA 91056 The group art show is running now through Jan 20th and the store hours is Mon – Sat 11 am – 7 PM. Pic from Hollywood Film festival

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed were guest at the 6TH ANNUAL FOCUS ON FEMALE DIRECTORS last night in Hollywood at the Egyptian Theatre. Dahveed & Steve Sievers were animators on the short film “Sule and the Case of the Tiny Sparks,” which was produced by Dahveed’s company Smorgasbord Production. Above is pic of the Sule crew including Shawneé & Shawnelle Gibbs, voice actors, artist, & others who worked on the film. Actress Kirsten Dunst was in attendance of the film festival.

Hollywood Film Festival

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed will be guest at the 6TH ANNUAL FOCUS ON FEMALE DIRECTORS. This shorts program celebrates the directorial work of actresses-turned-directors, Oscar winners, emerging filmmakers, experimental artists, documentarians, animators, and cinema pioneers. Featured shorts: Kirsten Dunst’s “Bastard” (2010, USA, 6 mins). A young couple in crisis find their way to a desert motel & more including Shawneé & Shawnelle Gibbs’ “Sule and the Case of the Tiny Sparks” (2010, 11 min, USA) which Dahveed & Steve Sievers were animators on the project. The film festival is taking place at the world famous Egyptian Theatre located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday January 5th from 7:30 – 10:30 PM.
