New SPBH Animation

Check out Supa Pirate Booty Hunt new animation. Called Making A Movie a Supa Pirate Booty Hunt Mini Episode/Trailer. Captain Zack Stevers & Daniel the Turtle attempt to make their own independent zombie movie. However they find out making a movie can be a little bit harder then excepted. Luckily there is always plan B and that is their Documentary film special Supa Pirate Booty Hunt The Making of An Animated Series. This indie film is available now on Amazon VOD or DVD. SPBH Appearance at SDCC 2017

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt Creators will be doing a signing at SDCC 2017 on Saturday at AA14 02:30 PM – 05:30 PM in the Autograph Area which is located in the Sails Pavilion on the second level of the Convention Center. They will have their film DVD for sale along with merch like Daniel the Turtle necklace or wrist band and artwork. Come by and say hi if you are there.

SPBH @ Designer Con 2016

If you are attending Designer Con this Saturday, make sure to stop by booth 1029 from 1 – 2PM. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be on hand giving out a limited amount of FREE Supa Pirate Booty Hunt / Music Saves Lives comic books. Steve Sievers gave out signed SPBH / MSL comics books at the Attitude Sky Lounge on top of the gaslamp Marriott which featured some breath taking views of the city. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be teaming up with Digital LA for an after party at San Diego Comic Con 2016. We will be giving out free signed Supa Pirate Booty Hunt / Music Saves Lives comic books to celebrate our film Supa Pirate Booty Hunt: The Making of An Animated Series launching on Amazon VOD and Amazon Prime that day. The party will take place at a top secret location this Saturday from 7 – 9 PM. RSVP now here.

Yahoo Music features SPBH

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators were hired to make a music video for the band Sunflower Dead new song ‘Its Time To Get Weird’ The song features Jonathan Davis of KoRn. They got the gig because of their past work doing work for charity Music Saves Lives animated PSA’s that featured Dave Mustaine of Megadeth & 3OH!3 You can view the music video now exclusive on Yahoo Music at: https://rising.yahoo.com/post/138032074068/video-premiere-sunflower-dead-get-weird-with Smorgasbord Productions even gets a shout out on Yahoo Music website and you can see Supa Pirate Booty Hunt characters twice in the background of the music video. Steve Sievers “Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am very passionate about music & animation. Getting asked to do a music video from a great band was quiet an honor. Was even more special that the song & animation features Jonathan Davis of KoRn. I remember waiting outside for hours in the 90’s to meet him at KoRn concerts. Now bringing him to life in animation form is something I will talk proudly about forever. I’m hoping this leads us to doing more animated music videos in the future. Plus I am extremely grateful that the band let us put Supa Pirate Booty Hunt in the music video since that is how they found us.”

Dahveed: “The union between Sunflower Dead and Smorgasbord Productions was epic!  Michael Del Pizzo came up with a very strong concept and he and his bandmates trusted us to take it to the next level.  I cranked their track up and let the ideas flow through me and onto the screen.  After I finished sketching out the first rough animatic I expected pages of revisions and criticism but found only praise. Our visions were in sync.  For once in my career we did not need to reign in the crazy! My amazing crew of deeply talented animators and designers helped me bring the finished video to life in a short amount of time!  We definitely would welcome the chance to work with SFD again and continue to work with other cutting edge artists.”

SPBH @ Emmy Gift Suite

 

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt own (@SteveSievers) was an invited guest at an Emmy Gift Suite to promote the work they do for the charity Music Saves Lives including giving out free comic books signed by Steve. Here is the video of celebrities stopping by my Music Saves Lives / Supa Pirate Booty Hunt booth at a 67th Emmy Award Show gift suite in Hollywood last Saturday. Including stars from Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Jurassic World, Karate Kid 3, Breaking Bad, Castle, Texas Rising, Star Trek: Renegades, Nickelodeon, MTV, American Idol, Leave it to Beaver, & more.
