Meltdown Comics, Angels & Kings, Green Beer, and…Giant Turtle?

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt crew had an amazing St. Patrick’s Day. Started out with free RANGO screening at the arclight, then went to Meltdown Comics for the We Heart Japan charity art show where Daniel the Turtle costume entertained the crowd. The event featured art show, food trucks, voice actors signing, with all money going to the victims of the Japan disaster. The SPBH crew then went to Angels & Kings bar and then a random place down the street on Hollywood Blvd to get some green beer. Below are pics from the night:

Platters Charity Event

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt was out in full support for our friend Brent who put on this charity event to help raise money for the Torrance Public School District. The event featured a performance by former lead singer of the Platters Virgil Gibson. Sam The Armenian Comedian who is famous for his rants on Kevin Bean Show on KROQ, Jimmy Kimmel Live &, the Man Show stopped by along with actor Cirroc Lofton from Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators had a booth at the Batcave at Medusa Lounge on Feb 5th. Dahveed & Steve Sievers showed off their artwork & screened SPBH animation with Daniel the Turtle costume ripping up the dance floor and also took pics with club goers. Bast Designs Group Art Show

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle has his art piece “Sad Daniel the Turtle in Oil” at the Bast Design Gallery located at 1312 Burbank Blvd #A Burbank, CA 91056 The group art show is running now through Jan 20th and the store hours is Mon – Sat 11 am – 7 PM. Steve stopped by the shop before the film festival last Wednesday. Check out pic above from it.

Secret Santa Bonus Pics

More pics from the Long Beach Party Project & Supa Pirate Booty Hunt Secret Santa Toy Drive Event. The charity event which was held at the Basement Lounge in downtown Long Beach. The spirit of the season was in the air that even Daniel the Turtle got dressed up as Santa and pose for people at the photo ops booth & warmed up the crowd on stage. SPBH creators auctioned off a signed glossy of Daniel the Turtle & Santa that went towards the Toy Drive and also many people brought toys to donate at the event. Toy Drive Event by SPBH & LBPP
