Supa Pirate Booty Hunt the animated series creators Dahveed & Steve Sievers celebrated one of their favorite holidays by not just doing one…not two but THREE EVENTS IN ONE DAY. The day started with Dahveed attending the LA Comic Book & Science Fiction Convention at the Shrine in downtown Los Angles. Dahveed passed out some Supa Pirate Booty Hunt postcards then head out to meet up with Steve at the San Gabriel Valley Comic Book Festival in El Monte, CA. They had a booth at the convention to show off SPBH animation and showed comic book lovers the true way to Talk Like A Pirate!
The night ended at the 5th Annual Punk Rock Pirate Party at Clancy’s in downtown Long Beach, CA. Everyone who attended the LBPP event got to enjoy live Punk Rock Music, Supa Pirate Booty Hunt animation, & Daniel the Turtle rocking out on stage. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creators will be having a booth at the 3rd Annual San Gabriel Valley Comic Book Festival on Sept 19th at the Cuban Club located at 10960 Lower Azusa Road El Monte, CA 91731 from 11 AM – 5 PM. The event is free…FREE! Free Admission! Supa Pirate Booty Hunt will be celebrating “Talk Like A Pirate Day” with the Long Beach Party Project at the 5th Annual Punk Rock Pirate Party happening on September 19th at Clancy’s located at 803 C. Broadway Ave Long Beach, CA 90802. The event is only $3 if you dress like a pirate & $5 with out costume and then you will be made into a pirate. Daniel the Turtle the supa pirate turtle will be there in costume rocking out and Supa Pirate Booty Hunt animation will be screened at the event.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed were on hand for the first every Animation Festival at the Rose Bowl Comic & Collectibles show as part of the world famous Rose Bowl Flea Market today. The crew got “supa” treatment by having their own changing room & locker for their event where they could hype themselves up like they were playing the superbowl and go out and promote the event to the masses! Even Daniel the Turtle became coach of the day by taking over the coach’s office room. Huge thanks to the Rose Bowl Comic & Collectibles crew & Jim Lujan for organizing the event. We will be back on October 10th for another animation festival. Come join the FUN!
Tomorrow there will be an animation festival at the Rose Bowl Comic & Collectibles which is part of the huge flee market they have every month at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed will be on hand for the event to screen their animation. The festival will begin at 11 AM. Also look out for Supa Pirate Booty Hunt costume characters walking around the Comic & Collectibles show & flee market.
