Join Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators at Pacific Media Expo 2012 for their Indie Animation Panel TOMORROW from 5:00 – 6:00PM in room LP3, La Jolla A at Hilton by LAX Airport AND they will be on a “Welcome to Toy Hell!” Collection Intervention Panel this Saturday 4:00pm-5:00pm in LP3, La Jolla A. SPBH creators were on the SyFy reality show Collection Intervention. They will be discussing their experience on the show on the panel along with others from the series. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be running their “Indie Animation” at Long Beach Comic & Horror Con on Sunday November 4th in Room 102A from 1:00 – 1:45 PM. Come to the panel to get inspired to create your own animation at home. SPBH on Panel @ SIGGRAPH
For five days anyone who works in animation, motion graphics, graphic design, VFX, illustration or anything else having to do with digital graphics, will descend on downtown Los Angeles for SIGGRAPH 2012. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator/voice actor Steve Sievers will be a guest speaker on the ‘Getting Your Project Done” panel at SIGGRAPH Tuesday Aug 7th from 4 – 5 PM at the LA Convention Center.
Along with fellow guest speakers: AJ Tesler – a former Manager of Development for Lion Television and creator of creation of The Independent Television Festival and Andrew Cochrane – currently, Director/VFX Supervisor at Mirada Studios. SPBH on Digital LA Panel @ Meltdown Comics
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator, animator, & voice actor Steve Sievers, was a guest speaker on Digital LA 4th annual pre-comic con panel at the Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics. Steve joined writers, animators and VFX artists on the panel and shared how they use digital and social media to create, develop, Kickstarter-fund and promote their film, TV, web series and apps to fans and like-family communities. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt is an official selection of the 2012 iTV Festival and is up for best animation. This year, iTV Fest has expanded into a Pop Culture convention called Pop Con LA. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt is having a booth at the convention and animation will screen during the animation block on Sunday July 8 at 11 AM. Also, SPBH creators will be speakers on the indie animation panel at noon tomorrow. iTV Fest/Pop Con LA is happening at the Los Angeles Convention Center today & tomorrow.
