Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed will be at Melt Down Comics in Hollywood for their Free Comic Book Day festival. They are partnering up with Digital LA to help run the photo booth and will be giving out a limited amount of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt / Music Saves Lives comic books at the event. The event is from 11 AM – 3 PM located at 7522 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be at Wondercon 2015 in Anaheim at PRA / Smorgasbord Production booth #1170 Steve Sievers and Dahveed will be doing comic book and film poster signing from Friday from 3 – 5 PM and Saturday 5 – 7 PM and promoting upcoming appearance at TOON CON which is April 25th at Frank and Sons.

The comic book will be turned into a motion comic book on the MSL youtube channel. Creators will also be giving out FREE signed Supa Pirate Booty Hunt The Docuemtnary posters at the booth. The Doc is available now to rent on iTunes via the free Matriarch TV app and coming to Hulu & Netflick the end of the year.

This two story comic book, supporting the charity Music Saves Lives, pairs Supa Pirate Booty Hunt characters Zack the Pirate and Daniel the Turtle up with celebrities Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Tania Gunadi, & voice over legend Tom Kenny. Voice of Zack in SPBH (Spike Spencer) joined Steve Sievers, Dahveed Kolodny-Nagy, Tom Kenny, & Tania Gunadi signing comics for the huge turn out of fans. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle did an art piece for the group art show called Covered at Geek’s Comics. The group art show is inspired by Free Comic Book Day which was on May 1st. The art piece is up for sale at Geeks Comic Book Shop through May 29th. Geeks is located at 6747 Greenleaf Ave Suite A Whittier, CA 90601. Steve said during the opening reception of the art show “I loved collecting Marvel’s What If… series growing up and I am pumped for Iron Man 2 to be coming out soon, so why not have Daniel the Turtle as Iron man?” As a side note, Steve Sievers loved Iron Man 2 which is in theaters now.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators attended the world premiere of Kick Ass the movie at the Arch-light Theatre in Hollywood last night with the cast & crew. Check out Steve Sievers on the red carpet below. They also attended John Romita, Jr (KICK ASS Comic Book co-creator & artist) signing at Golden Apple comic store before the movie. Look for footage of us interviewing fans & John so stay tuned.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle attended a signing of Rob Liefeld who created the marvel comic book character Deadpool. Steve promote the Daniel the Turtle figure with his Super Hero Squad Deadpool figure at the event and as you can see in the pics, Rob & other got a kick out of it. Also Steve attended DJ Rossstar’s Punk Rock show to see Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen with her band The Pretty Reckless. The band has their song “Make Me Wanna Die” on the Kick ASS Soundtrack and look for their full length album out this summer & check them out on the whole Vans Warped Tour. Check out pics below:
