Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed will be at Melt Down Comics in Hollywood for their Free Comic Book Day festival. They are partnering up with Digital LA to help run the photo booth and will be giving out a limited amount of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt / Music Saves Lives comic books at the event. The event is from 11 AM – 3 PM located at 7522 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator, writer, & voice of Daniel the Turtle (@SteveSievers) was a guest creator at 4 Color Fantasies comic shop for their Free Comic Book Festival. The event drew nearly 3,000 people at it. Steve gave out a ton of SPBH postcards and film posters for Supa Pirate Booty Hunt The Documentary, which is available to rent now on iTunes. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle is having a piece in a group art show in honor of Free Comic Book Day called Covered 2010. The event will take place at GEEKS COMICS at 6847 Greenleaf Ave Suite A Whittier CA 90601. The opening reception is May 1st at 7 PM and the art show will be up until May 29th. Steve piece is titled “What if… Iron Turtle”
