Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators Steve Sievers & Dahveed will be at Melt Down Comics in Hollywood for their Free Comic Book Day festival. They are partnering up with Digital LA to help run the photo booth and will be giving out a limited amount of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt / Music Saves Lives comic books at the event. The event is from 11 AM – 3 PM located at 7522 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator, animator, & voice actor Steve Sievers, was a guest speaker on Digital LA 4th annual pre-comic con panel at the Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics. Steve joined writers, animators and VFX artists on the panel and shared how they use digital and social media to create, develop, Kickstarter-fund and promote their film, TV, web series and apps to fans and like-family communities. Last Thursday on St. Patrick’s Day, Supa Pirate Booty Hunt crew was out to support the We Heart Japan charity event at Meltdown Comics. Daniel the Turtle costume was out in full force to lend a helping hand. Anime News Network (The Rolling Stone of the Anime World) did a coverage on the event and Daniel the Turtle costume made it on the front page of the site.
