Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be having a booth today at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Monterey Park, CA. They will also be taking a part in the costume hero contest @ 4:30 PM so be on the look out for Daniel the Turtle & Cpt Zack Stevers.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators will be at the Wizard World Convention today in costume. Also make sure to stop by Spike Spencer’s booth (voice of Cpt Zack Stevers) to pick up some Supa Pirate Booty Hunt goodies. Spike will be there all three days of the convention.
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt creators attended the world premiere of Kick Ass the movie at the Arch-light Theatre in Hollywood last night with the cast & crew. Check out Steve Sievers on the red carpet below. They also attended John Romita, Jr (KICK ASS Comic Book co-creator & artist) signing at Golden Apple comic store before the movie. Look for footage of us interviewing fans & John so stay tuned.

The event took place in downtown Hollywood @ the Highland Hot Topic and plenty of people at the event got exposed to Supa Pirate Booty Hunt. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle will be a guest on Double Down Radio Friday April 9th from 8 – 9 PM on KLAV 1230 AM in Las Vegas. The show is prod-cast live from the Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas and if you aren’t in the area, you will be able to watch it live online or recorded podcast. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator & voice of Daniel the Turtle attended a signing of Rob Liefeld who created the marvel comic book character Deadpool. Steve promote the Daniel the Turtle figure with his Super Hero Squad Deadpool figure at the event and as you can see in the pics, Rob & other got a kick out of it. Also Steve attended DJ Rossstar’s Punk Rock show to see Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen with her band The Pretty Reckless. The band has their song “Make Me Wanna Die” on the Kick ASS Soundtrack and look for their full length album out this summer & check them out on the whole Vans Warped Tour. Check out pics below:
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt will be having a booth at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Little Tokyo district of Downtown Los Angeles. The booth will be located at 1st Street @ Central by the Japanese American National Museum. The event is free so come on out and meet SPBH co-creator & artist Dahveed and pick up a Daniel the Turtle figure or get your own sketch by Dahveed himself. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt hosted an after party for Wondercon along with eigoMANGA. The party was at the Eve Lounge, right up the street from the convention. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt animation played on the projector screen on loop all night. The Eve Lounge had drink specials and as you can tell everyone had a great time. The highlight of the night for us was the drunk dancing Stormtroopers. You don’t see that everyday. See pics below and video coming soon:
